Happiness in a sentence

I have started and stopped a diary (as well as this blog) quite a few times over the course of my 25 years. Mum started me off the whole 'write about your day in a diary' journey to stay involved in my life given her hectic career life. The stresses of academic, followed by the transition into the corporate jungle then made it hard to sit down and etch out a day in words. But motivated by Gretchen Rubin, author of The Happiness Project, to write one sentence a day - so that I may keep a record of my life (which will come in handy should I ever succumb to memory loss; or feel like reminiscing about the past). Do hope you'll be encouraged to jot your sentence of the day as well! :)

So the sentence(s) of the day for 27 March 2015:
Thankful to have proposed lunch to catch up with M, one of the toughest chicks I know and admire for her tenacity and determination. I am reminded of how life's struggles can bestow valuable gifts as well. Keep going, my young heroine!
